Thank goodness it's a draft...

Thank goodness my 2015 race calendar is a draft...because it is changing already! I posted about my plans for 2015 back here on November 13, 2014. Before the year even ended I'd already decided not to run the Resolution 10K on January 1 because my ankle would not be happy. That was a good call! Then I thought I could possibly run the Frozen 5K on January 4! But decided it was not a smart idea. Fortunately I had not registered for either of those races! 


So right now I do not have a January race on my calendar! Oh horrors!! All kidding aside - this is not the end of the world. I just like to try to race every month. I have been looking at a few possibilities and may just get a race in, but if it happens it will be a last minute thing. And if it does not happen that will be OK, too!

Back to my ankle. I ran on New Year's Eve and ran harder than I'd planned. My ankle was pretty sore for a day or so. Then I managed to do a little dancing this past Saturday night at a Team Z function. Team Rabbit rapped about it, here! Surprisingly, my ankle felt better after all this. Maybe it was the blood flow? Or a different kind of movement? Anyway, my new training schedule began yesterday, but I've decided to rest my ankle a few more days and go for a run this Saturday.
