Happy Friday...

Happy Friday the 13th! I remember one time, way back when, I had an apartment with a roommate. It was really the only time I lived away from home before getting married. Of course, now I'm not married... Anyway, we had the apartment for one year, so it was some time between July 1986 and June 1987...whatever the month was the 13th was on a Friday. So we had a Friday the 13th Party. We borrowed our neighbor's black cat, put out broken pieces of mirror, and set up a step ladder. Oh yeah, we also opened an umbrella. Now, most people (I hope?!) know all these things are 'bad luck'. But some people at the party actually asked why we had a ladder in the apartment. We were like, 'never mind'...because if you had to ask it just wasn't funny. Of course, the fact that they DID ask WAS funny...
