Single Digits!

As I post this, my countdown timer says 8 days, 19 hours, and some minutes. So really in 9 days I'll be 70.3 Choo-ing along! I'm about as ready for this as I'm going to be. Seems like every race I always think 'I could have done more' but I do think I've done enough. It's been so long since I've gone long distance, that I just want to have a good and fun day! The best part will be that my younger son will be there cheering me on and supporting me!

But first, tomorrow I have a nice half century ride to do! The VCU Health Cap2Cap! I know our weather won't be spectacular, but hopefully the expected rain won't be too bad. It's not a race, though, so I don't have to worry about trying to go fast.

Then on Sunday, the =PR= Mother's Day 4 Miler! I've done a number of PR races before, but never this one! I hope to get a little warm up run in before hand, as well. This will be my second race of four on my 2017 Race Pass!

Happy and Healthy Racing and Training!
